Thank you for visiting my 2026 Colin's Hope fundraising page! I'm running the Austin Marathon on February 15 on behalf of Colin's Hope, and I hope you would consider donating toward my effort. I ran my first marathon in 2010 when I joined the very first Colin's Hope Running Buddies team. Fifteen years and 25 marathons later, I couldn't be prouder to once again pound out 26.2 miles to support water safety awareness and childhood drowning prevention.

Drowning is the #1 cause of death for children ages 1–4 and a leading cause of death for older children, teens, and adults.
It is also preventable.

Yet every year:

• In the United States, nearly 4,000 people of all ages are lost annually — an average of 11 preventable deaths every day

• In Texas alone, at least 88 children lost their lives last year, and seven times as many survived a non-fatal drowning, often with lifelong impacts

Drowning happens quickly.
It is silent.
And it does not discriminate.
No one is drown-proof.
