ReadyGoSwim is excited to announce its 1st Annual Fundraiser for Colin's Hope.
We will be hosting a sponsored Noodle-a-thon around the pool on May 29th from 1pm - 4pm. We are encoursaging all our families from our swimschool to participate in this event. We are asking that our swimmers do at least 8 laps around the pool with a parent or individually if able to and asking families to find sponsors for them from friends and family members for this amazing cause.
As you all know Water Safety is my passion and something I feel very strongly about.
Did you know that last year 75 Texas children lost their lives to a fatal drowning? Or that many more survived a non-fatal drowning incident?
These drownings are PREVENTABLE, yet DROWNING IS STILL THE NUMBER 1 CAUSE OF UNINTENTIONAL INJURY RELATED DEATH FOR CHILDREN UNDER 5 and A LEADING CAUSE FOR AGES 1-14.
